    If ever there was a property that screamed "the essence of Echo Park," this one is it. There are so many features to love, when you add them all up it is arguably one of the most desirable properties in Echo Park. The unit down the hill has its own good-sized yard and even has a detached structure that serves nicely as a studio or office. When it was put on the market to be rented, there was literally a 'bidding war' that caused it to be rented for a higher amount ($5400/mo) than was even asked for. Also, the unit up the hill is, if anything, even more desirable than the one below, not to mention the fact that it is almost 50% larger. Thus the projected rent on that one is $7000/mo (and that may be low.) But that one is being delivered vacant to make it easy for a new owner who may want to live there. The views in the unit up the hill are some of the best in the city, and they can be enjoyed either from the deck just outside the kitchen upstairs or the deck of the master bedroom downstairs, as well as from the living room. Everything in both units has been thoroughly and tastefully renovated by one of the top restorators on the East Side. All appliances are included. At the bottom unit there is two car parking, and even allows for the possibility of four car tandem parking if the vehicles are not too big. Up top is street parking only, but the street parking is so available and so exclusive to this property, that it's virtually the same as if it were 'on site' parking. The top unit, while being a two bedroom two bath unit, also has a great bonus room in the mezzanine space in between the top and bottom floors which can have any number of uses.
